Q. Is it possible to place a free order?
We produce houses, stores, offices, etc. almost on a free-order basis.
We will respond to your needs according to the size of the site, floor plan, specifications, and budget.
By manufacturing a trailer house designed to our own specifications, we can develop a unique brand that differentiates us from other stores.
However, we are unable to accommodate larger than specified specifications or those that are structurally impossible due to manufacturing restrictions. Also, it is more expensive than the standard model.
Q. What are the other costs besides the main unit?
Transportation cost (including application for deregulation of standards + special vehicle permit application fee) + installation cost + jacking cost + lifeline work (water, gas, electricity). Lifeline construction requires electrical, water, and gas (propane) work. Costs vary depending on the installation location and contractor, so please consult with us in advance.
Q. What about the restrooms?
Toilets in the trailer house are standard flush shower toilets, the same as those in ordinary houses.
Piping from the trailer house is connected to the sewage system and septic tank.
Q. Where will the sewage be discharged? What about water, electricity, and gas?
Equipment and connections inside the trailer house are to be connected and used in the following manner, as in a regular house.
However, when installing, the connection should be made in a way that allows for removal without the use of special tools.
Q. Can I change the size, color or specifications?
Since we are also a general detached house building company, most of our houses are custom-built trailer houses that meet the needs of our customers.
The chassis can be freely designed according to the width and length of the chassis. Although it depends on the road conditions to the installation site, the basic design of Dream House is a maximum width of 3.5m x length of 11.0m x height of 4.1m.
The interior floor plan can also be freely changed.
Q. How long does it take to complete the order?
The main body of the trailer house will be completed in approximately two months after we receive the official order.
However, it may take some time to apply for a relaxation of standards for transportation and for a special vehicle permit. (Please consider about 3 months).
Q. How about fire resistance?
It is equivalent to a general detached house.
Because the main body is of 2×4 construction, it has superior fire resistance compared to general frame construction, fire and stain resistant exterior siding, and gypsum board for the interior walls. Fire insurance premiums are also lower for the frame construction method (2×4 construction) because of its flame-retardant structure.
Q. Is it safe against earthquakes?
Trailer houses are subjected to the same shocks and vibrations as earthquakes when they are moved, so they are built sturdily and flexibly with load-bearing walls to withstand such shocks and vibrations. Even in the event of a major earthquake, the jacks in contact with the ground serve as a damping structure, absorbing the shaking of the earth.
Q. Is it safe against typhoons?
I think the concern about trailer house damage is high winds. In fact, in the Okinawa region, concrete blocks and trailer houses are connected with metal. There are countermeasures against shaking, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
*You may remember Typhoon No. 21 that hit the Osaka region in 2018. With an instantaneous maximum wind speed of 58.1 m, it made big news when a tanker slammed into the connecting bridge at Kansai International Airport. We had set up 21 of our trailer houses as a glamping hotel on Maishima in Osaka City, which is located in the same Osaka Bay. Some of the trailer houses in the coastal area skidded more than 50 cm, but did not topple over. We then built a concrete dirt floor and connected it with metal for safety.
Q. Is there insurance?
We are affiliated with an exclusive insurance company and can protect buildings and household goods as well as homes against fire, explosion, lightning, wind and snow damage, as well as earthquake damage, fire, and tsunami loss.
